My World, My Work

Demetrio Alomar was born in Rochester, NY and went to School of The Arts, a city school that had a focus in the Visual and Performing Arts. Due to this, he wants to at some point give back to inner city schools and help students succeed and thrive. He saw how the arts helped kids stay in school and focused on positive roads to their futures. He hopes to one day start after school programs in inner city schools that use the arts to reach kids in underprivileged areas.
